Groove3 Logic Pro Sampler Explained TUTORIAL

Studio wiz Larry Holcombe presents comprehensive Logic Pro Sampler video tutorials! If you’re ready to start implementing Logic Pro Sampler’s powerful sound-design capabilities and invigorate your beats and tracks, this is the course for you. Larry takes you through all the major features of the instrument and demonstrates concepts with musical examples, so you can hear the ideas in action. These videos are for new Logic Pro Sampler users.

Larry welcomes you and starts by providing an overview of the sampler’s interface and main panes. After demonstrating the different ways you can load/save presets next, you’ll be off and running as Larry begins covering the zones, groups, and methods of importing samples. Then explore the Zone pane and learn how to manipulate the edit points, looping functions, fades, and more.

Next, discover Groups and the Mapping pane, with which you can route groups of samples to separate outputs. The Synth Pane is covered after this, where you’ll find parameters for pitch, filter, amp, etc., and the Details tab, which houses settings like velocity, pitch bend, randomization, and more!

Throughout the rest of the course, you’ll learn the rest of Sampler’s features, including modulators (LFO, envelopes), Mod Matrix, Autosampler, and other advanced settings like choke groups, round robins, and changing articulations! Finally, Larry covers the differences between Quick Sampler and Sampler, so you can decide which one will be suitable for a particular scenario.
