Field & Foley Interior Sound Design WAV
Using seemingly innocent and benign household sounds as source material, sound designer Sam Kearney transforms your often ignored, everyday soundtrack and transforms it into an otherworldly sample pack of sound fx that fit in just as easily with movie trailers and musical productions. You’ll hear ambiences derived from microwaves, washing machines, toasters, and the kitchen sink. Foley and sfx made from scissors, fans, kettles, showers, electric toothbrushes and light switches. There’s even unusual percussion designed from lighters and cabinet drawers.
These sounds can be repurposed as useful fx for a film score that needs an edge or used as transitions and unique accents in a dark techno track. The booming impacts made from the sound of an oven or a garage door are ideal for big moments in film trailers. It’s really inspiring to see what orchestra of sounds lives in your very own home. All you need to do is to open your mind and unleash what you thought not possible from the world around you.
