Loftii – Red Lights
Loftii is the lofi hip-hop side project of Canadian artists Hudson Lee & Matt McWaters. Similarly to Joe, Hudson’s main project focuses on an experimental blend of neurohop and future beats, with a solid injection of sound design wizardry to keep things interesting. But as loftii, he channels the calmer side of his production abilities, while still weaving magic moments throughout the arrangements.
Delayde – Quiet Humans
Joe Mawson, is a producer of many talents. As RefraQ, he blends neuro and experimental future beats seamlessly, while also sporadically jumping between tempos and genres. As Delayde, he looks at the more mellow side of things, crafting unique, beautiful lofi beats that will fit nicely into any collection or playlist while still standing out.
Sofasound – I Made It So Far
John Digiacomo-Sofia (aka Sofasound) has released too many tracks to count, and each one feels like it represents something honest. To describe his music would be a unique blend of chillhop, future beats and lofi. But that might be undercutting his production credentials, where you might find elements of pop, bounce, trap or house, infused in his music.
Module #6: Advanced Tips & Tricks
In this final module, we’ll discuss some tips & tricks in detail that you can apply to your own music.
We’ll focus on the sound design, processing and production elements of the music, as well as showing you alternate ways of working in your DAW when writing lofi hip hop.
