Matt Starling Audio Editing 101 TUTORIAL
Any DAW will allow you to follow along with the instructions in the videos. The file called “Raw Voice for Editing Practice.wav” was demonstrated in Reaper (voice editing) and the four “Music editing” files was demonstrated in Ableton Live (music editing).
For music editing, the files should be loaded onto 4 separate tracks, and they should be time-aligned. The easiest way to do that is to align the 4 files at the beginning of the timeline, as seen in “Part 2” of the video workshop.
