Stack of Wood – Klang of the Month KONTAKT
Cinematique Instruments have released their new Stack of Wood instrument for the full version of the NI Kontakt sampler. It harmoniously combines the sounds of wooden objects and the marimba musical instrument. You might think that wood cannot sound.
But try to pick up a handful of sticks or twigs and put them together. Listening carefully, you will notice that each of these pieces of wood makes its own noise.
So the sound engineers at Cinematique Instruments made a sound library out of these samples and just added a few Marimba snippets. Listen to the short excerpt below.
